The City of Geneva is warning of a fake Instagram account which is pretending be the official account of the city.
At first glance the page looks official. But it only has 112 subscribers – against 51,000 for the correct account – and it’s set to private, so anyone has to be approved before following.
The city is warning such accounts tend to be used for scams and the theft of personal data and is advising people to block it.
