The University of Geneva will be opening its doors to Ukrainian refugees for the next academic year.
New students will be able to attend the Academic Horizon programme, designed for newcomers ahead of a full degree course.
The cost will be the same as for any other student – CHF 6,000 a year. But the refugees may be able to get some social support under the programme.
The university says they will also be eligible for scholarships if they qualify.
