Geneva prosecutors have decided to charge a mother of a young girl who died after the child fell out of an 11th floor window of her apartment in Le Lignon.
The accident was in 2022.
The mother is accused of negligent homicide for not supervising the girl closely enough. It was known the child liked to climb on things.
Authorities also say the family was known to them after the girl became ill when she swallowed cannabis.
Investigations are continuing.
