After months of tension, Geneva and its French neighbours are moving toward closer cooperation.
On November 27, an agreement is set to be signed allowing Geneva to help fund transport projects in nearby France for the first time.
The canton plans to invest around CHF 30m to improve cross-border bus routes and park-and-ride sites.
Supporters say it’s key to easing traffic congestion, but the plan could still face political hurdles and possibly a public vote .
