Student demonstrations in support of Gaza are spreading.
After lock-ins in Lausanne and Zurich – now students have spent the night in the Uni-Mail building in Geneva.
Geneva University says it regrets the decision by some to stay in the building after normal closing time and place themselves in an illegal situation.
More than a hundred are thought to have blockaded themselves inside.
The demonstrators are demanding the university makes its position on Gaza clear and suspend all collaboration with Israeli academic institutions.
