A figure that may surprise you – a Geneva bus takes a wrong turn at least once a day.
One of the most eye-catching cases was a line D bus that took a wrong turn last month and ended up on the highway, missing around 10 stops.
A month before, a trolley bus took a wrong turning – tearing the cable away from the power line which caused some damage, but no injuries.
Most cases are minor, but the TPG points out each time it is investigated.
Normally the problems arise from roadworks and temporary route changes.
