In some rare good news – the Geneva utility company, the SIG, says energy costs will be coming down. It will cut gas prices by 7% from tomorrow.
The company says the move is possible as prices are dropping on the international markets as well as lower than expected demand over the winter – due to mild weather conditions and customer efforts to reduce demand.
The price cut will affect 40,000 customers.
