Geneva firefighters had to rescue a horse that had fallen into a ditch on Saturday.
16-year-old Confetti had been spooked by something and leapt into a waterlogged ditch in Collex-Bossy – and couldn’t haul herself out.
Fire crews used a special harness to lift her out.
But it’s not something fire crews should be unfamiliar with. Horse rescues is one of the events they train for. A spokesman says they even have model horses for that reason.
Confetti was checked by a vet and has been given the all clear. She's now back at her stables.
