Fake police stop drivers in Schaffhausen using white Tesla

Two men posing as police officers carried out fake traffic stops in Ramsen, Canton Schaffhausen, early Friday morning.

According to Schaffhausen police, the pair used a white Tesla and were stopping vehicles near the Petersburg/Faselroo junction around 2 a.m.

A 19-year-old woman saw them stopping others, before flagging her down.

They demanded to see her licence, asking her to get out and open the boot.

She became suspicious and fled when the men failed to show any identification.

Police are appealing for witnesses and any information about the white Tesla with Swiss plates.
