A man, who used to work for the refugee agency, the UNHCR, has been given a suspended fine for sending images of an execution to a former colleague.
They left her extremely distressed. She believes the man was persuaded to send the video by her ex-husband.
The images were sent in 2018, but the man had disappeared. He was found in February.
The former UN worker says he sent the images as part of his work. Judges were not convinced and issued a suspended fine of CHF 6,000.
The woman’s ex-husband is still missing.
