Electric bills are set to come down by about 10% next year – that’s an average cut of CHF 140 per household.
The main reasons for the fall is the stabilization of prices on the international markets and a cut in the winter reserve prices, says the Federal Electricity Commission.
But the falls won’t be uniform across the country. That will be dependent on how your electricity is generated.
