The particle physics laboratory CERN is looking to raise cash for the Future Circular Collider by selling a series of science themed games and accessories for pets.
One idea they hope will be a money spinner is a hamster cage based on the Large Hadron Collider – made accurately to scale.
In an easy to assemble package, hamsters will be able to explore the series of tunnels.
A spokesman for CERN, Dr Suido Canshu, says there’s more than one tunnel at CERN, and particularly clever hamsters could figure out the best routes to take.
He adds the tunnels keep physicists happy for hours – so hamsters are certain to love them.
The hamster tunnel toy is for sale at the CERN gift shop from today.
