Burglar cooked pasta and took a bath

A woman in Lachen in canton Schwyz told a court how a neighbour called her while she was at work to tell her someone was in her kitchen one evening.

She says it was a shock as she lives alone.

As the homeowner works nightshift she was not at home. She called the police who arrived and arrested the burglar.

The man was identified as homeless – and penniless.

It seems while inside, he had made himself at home. He cooked himself some pasta and seemingly took a bath.

The woman said he also made a mess.

The man was jailed for 60 days.
