 
                            A young boy was killed in canton Vaud on Tuesday evening after he was hit by a bus.
The 10-year-old was walking in a designated space that buses use to turn around in the commune of Forel. The 65-year-old driver was operating a scheduled service when he knocked the child down.
Emergency services were on the scene quickly, including an air ambulance. But he was declared dead at the scene.
