The City of Bern will be celebrating the outcome of Switzerland’s game against Spain on Friday – no matter what the outcome.
The city has announced a ‘Freinacht’- or Free Night.
That means all the normal regulations on how long bars can stay open will be lifted and the drinks can continue to flow all night long.
In a statement, the City says ‘the outstanding performance of the Swiss women’s team will be celebrated with a night of fun’.
The game will even interrupt the music at the Gurten Festival – one of the stages will have a large screen set up, so festival goers won’t miss out.
