Police in canton Bern are investigating after a cat went missing and then its head was left on the road – perhaps in such a position it would be found by the pet’s owner.
37-year-old Lukas says his 10-month-old cat, Ragnor, went missing on Friday and he and his wife searched most of the weekend.
But on Sunday, his wife made the shocking discovery. Ragnor’s severed head left on the road. She believes it had been placed there recently.
Police confirm the cat was not attacked by another animal and they’re investigating an ‘animal crime.’
