Geneva locals around the Bertrand and La Grange parks are angry the city has decided to renovate two paddling pools now.
Work started in the spring – and is still not finished, much to the frustration of residents in the middle of a heat wave.
In its defence, the city says the work could only start once the council green lit the budget and the wet spring hampered work.
The good news is, they will be open soon. The pool in the Bertrand Park will be full of water by next week and La Grange before the end of the month.
