A long running undercover operation being run from canton Aargau has led to the arrests of suspected child sex offenders across the country and the world.
Known as Operation Ninja Turtle, police used a profile of a known offender to snare others.
Over 2,000 were identified. There were arrests as far afield as South America as well as Europe and this country.
Aargau police says the operation shows the effort top protect potential victims is worthwhile.
