One person was killed and eight others injured after a pile up on the A14 near Epikon in canton Lucerne yesterday afternoon.
Police say a delivery van crashed through the central barrier and then collided with oncoming traffic.
The road was closed for several hours, causing major tailbacks in the region.
Investigations are underway.
