The TPG has finished a massive recruitment campaign and by the end of the year will have 209 new drivers working for them.
Over 4,000 people applied – around 70 a day at the peak.
Most of the new recruits are aged between 31 and 35 and were looking for a career change.
But the vast majority are male. The TPG says, regretfully, that only 11% of applicants were women.
It says it will have another major employment drive early next year – and it will make a specific effort to hire more women.
