Worst traffic offender in the country will keep driving

The worst traffic offender in the country says he will keep driving – despite having his license revoked in 1984.

The 60-year-old is in court demanding the right to retake his driving test.

But since he lost his licence 37 years ago, he’s racked up nearly 200 other road offences.

He’s also been convicted off using illegal licence plates and driving without insurance.

The man says as he works as a motor mechanic, he needs to be able to drive.

His home canton of Schwyz has banned him from getting a licence back – he’s hoping to be able to get a licence from another canton.
