A woman was shot dead in an apartment in Winterthur yesterday afternoon – a man was arrested on the spot.
Police say the 32-year-old victim died with gunshots and they arrested a 76-year-old man in a major operation involving a specialist armed intervention squad.
Also in the apartment was the victim’s 2-year-old daughter – she’s been taken into care.
Investigations into the exact circumstances of the shooting are now being investigated.
