A woman in Morges has been given a three-year suspended prison sentence for staging a burglary at her home.
She claimed a family stamp collection worth over CHF 300,000 was taken as well as other items, including a watch and an ipad.
Those were later discovered at the family’s mountain chalet.
Police were suspicious as soon as they examined the scene. They say they could see no signs of a forced entry.
The court determined the woman’s husband had not been involved in the deception and was cleared.
