WEF quits following Epstein links

The president of the World Economic Forum, Børge Brende, has resigned following an internal probe into his past contacts with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.


Brende admitted meeting Epstein three times between 2018 and 2019, describing the encounters as limited to dinners and messages, and said he was unaware of Epstein’s criminal history.
