Two big names at the Geneva Film Festival

The Geneva International Film Festival returns for its 31st edition from October 31 to November 9.

This year’s guests of honor are British director Stephen Frears and American screenwriter Alan Ball, both celebrated for their influence on film and television. 

The festival also spotlights Dutch creativity, with films, series, and interactive works. 

Alan Ball is best known for writing ‘American Beauty’ and the TV series ‘Six Feet Under’ as well as many others. 

Stephen Frears directed hits such as ‘My Beautiful Launderette, Dangerous Liaisons and the Oscar nominated film, 'The Grifters'.
