Donald Trump used his Davos speech to take aim at Europe - and to double down on his Greenland ambitions.
During a speech which lasted for more than an hour and is being widely described as ‘rambling’ he said the vast Arctic island “must” be taken over by the United States for global security, insisting he wouldn’t use force but calling for immediate negotiations.
Trump also criticised Europe’s economic and energy policies, mocking wind power as a “green scam” and praising tariffs as a way to make foreign countries pay.
