Traffic back to normal on A1 after 'bump'

Traffic should flow normally on the A1 at Vengeron from now on as workers have fixed the bulge that formed on the road on Tuesday.

Rain water flooded a small tunnel being built under the road to carry cabling – it then forced up the carriage way 22cm – leading to its closure.

Traffic will now have to contend with the roadworks that are going on around Grand Saconnex – they’re not going anywhere for months yet.
