A large crowd is expected in the middle of Geneva this Sunday for the Tour de Romandie.
For only the second time in the race’s history, the elite cyclists will be tearing through the Old Town on a 17 km time trial. Part of the route is a 100-meter climb in just three kilometres.
A combination of rain and cobblestones will make it an interesting race.
The event will mean road closures and public transport disruption – for those who want to watch, a fan zone will be set up on the Place Neuve.
