Around 1,500 people marched through Geneva on Saturday to demand Switzerland impose sanctions on Israel, three years after the 7 October attacks that triggered the Gaza war
The protest, led by the Collectif Urgence Palestine, called for Bern to break all commercial, military, academic and cultural ties with Israel, including a drone-armament contract.
Demonstrators accused the Swiss government of complicity and called for the arrest of prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu under the International Criminal Court warrant should he set foot in Switzerland.
The rally passed off peacefully, according to Geneva police
