Singer Tina Turner has bought a large estate on Lake Zurich for around CHF 70m.

Turner and her husband Erwin Bach have been living in Zurich for years, but in a rented home.

The large house is 24,000 square meters, has 10 buildings, a swimming pool with a boat dock.

The family says it was the pandemic which prompted the purchase and are calling it a weekend retreat.

There’s also speculation that the couple may build a museum celebrating Tina Turner’s career
