Two and a half thousand marched in Geneva on Saturday, demanding a ceasefire in Gaza and an end to the occupation.
The march started at the Les Grottes district and ended at the Place Neuve – crossing over the Mont-Blanc Bridge, causing major traffic disruption.
One of the marchers told the press that Switzerland has a duty to respond and demand adherence to international humanitarian law.
The march was carefully monitored by police who said there were no major problems.
