Swisscom will switch off its 3G mobile network by the end of this year, ending a technology more than 20 years old.
Around 180,000 private and business customers are still using 3G, which has largely been replaced by faster 4G and 5G services.
Rival operator Sunrise shut down its 3G network in August, while Salt says it will maintain 3G coverage until at least the end of next year.
