Swiss International Air Lines is offering thousands of cabin crew a payout to leave, as it looks to cut costs and reduce overstaffing.
Flight attendants based in Zurich are being offered CHF 15,000, around four months’ salary - if they resign by the end of April.
The airline says it currently has up to three hundred surplus crew at times.
The move comes as SWISS struggles with a shortage of pilots, grounded aircraft, and falling profits, all made worse by rising fuel costs linked to the conflict with Iran.
