The Swiss People’s Party in canton Sankt Gallen are in trouble with authorities and will have to change all their election posters.
The canton is holding an election soon, and posters urging voters where to mark their ballot papers have been put up everywhere.
But those for the Swiss People’s Party have the cantonal coat of arms on them. That’s not allowed. Only official communication from the canton can show the coat of arms.
The political party has been told to take them down and get them re-printed.
