A senior Zurich judge has been summoned to see his bosses after a Tik-Tok account run by his wife came to light.
The videos are a light hearted look at domestic life and show the couple gently mocking each other.
In one, the judge – 61-year-old Christoph Spiess – was standing by while watching his wife shovel snow from the car while she moaned about women’s rights.
In another, she’s seen hitting him with a rolling pin from behind.
But it’s all in fun.
The head of the Zurich High Court, Martin Langmeier, says the videos should be removed as judges should present themselves as worthy of such high office – in private as well as in the court room.
But Speiss says he accepts setting a high standard is important, but he enjoys the videos and if someone else has a problem with them – that’s their problem.
He won’t remove them.
