Satigny climbing center to reopen this year

Climbing Center fire April 2022 (c) WRS

The climbing center in Satigny which burned down this time last year will reopen by October the 14th at the latest.

The director of the climbing center points out that when it burned down it had only been open for a year – that means they still had all the plans and rebuilding was easier because of that.

Daniel Rebetez says he’s had many emails from potential customers asking when the climbing walls will be open again.

There’s only one other climbing wall in French speaking Switzerland that complies with international standards and that’s in Villeneuve.
