You can go swimming in the Rhone and the Arve rivers once again.
Authorities had banned entering the rivers last week after a treatment works in Annemasse dumped tonnes of sewerage into the Arve.
But samples were taken at the beginning this week and the Geneva Health Department says bacteria levels have now returned to normal and swimming is now safe.
This weekend may be the last time you’d want to swimming in the rivers – by next week, temperatures will start to drop.
