Pro-Palestinian protests block Geneva trains

Cornavin train station

Pro-Palestinian protestors invaded the train tracks at Geneva and Lausanne stations yesterday evening.

More than 300 people marched into the station in Geneva at 6pm yesterday after holding a protest outside. It was said the action was spontaneous after comments spreading on social media.

A similar action took place in Lausanne a couple of hours later.

Rail services were disrupted for much of the evening.
