Venezuelan flags were raised in Geneva on Saturday as nearly 200 people gathered at Place des Nations to protest U.S. military intervention in Venezuela.
The rally, organized by left-wing groups and unions, demanded an end to sanctions, respect for self-determination, and the release of President Nicolás Maduro and his wife.
Tensions briefly flared between pro- and anti-Maduro demonstrators, but calm was restored before the protest ended.
