Pressure on hot dogs and beer at stadium

Excitement ahead of this evening’s game between Servette and Rangers at the Stade de Genève is building.

All 30,000 seats have been sold – and Servette are at the top of their game and hopes of a local victory are high.

But fans do have a worry – hot dogs and beer.

The quality of the catering at the stadium has long been criticised.

But the company in charge of making sure fans won’t go hungry or thirsty, Prime&Co, says it has been responding to complaints.

It says there are not enough places at the stadium to serve food and drink. Buit for tonight’s game it says the number of staff will be doubled and where to get a beer or a hot dog will be split to improve efficiency.

It’s also doubling the number of contactless payment terminals available.

Servette FC is looking forward to welcoming all fans tonight – but has some advice.

The doors will open two hours before kick-off, which is at 8.30. Take public transport to the stadium and if you don’t have tickets for the game – don’t go to the stadium.
