Four of the biggest perfume and fragrance companies are under investigation for allegedly colluding illegally.
The two Geneva firms, Firmenich and Givaudan as well as the American company, International Flavors and Fragrances and the German Symrise are all under the spotlight.
The Swiss Competition Commission, with the European Commission, the US Department of Justice and the British Competition and Markets Authority are working together.
Swiss authorities say business premises have been searched but are not releasing any further information.
