Paléo Festival looks set to see a dry and sunny week.

Paléo kicks off today for its 47th edition.

Some 250,000 festival-goers are expected to enjoy the 200 concerts, 8 stages, 136 food stands, as well as 40 trade stalls and 47 bars.

There are a few new features, including a drone show on Sunday evening instead of the traditional fireworks.

Headliners this year include Sam Smith, Major Lazer, Patti Smith, Royal Blood, Chic, Burna Boy, Caravan Palace and Gims.

Swiss musicians (played on WRS) include Pat Burgener and Sirens of Lesbos.

Around 8,500 will camp on site. 5,400 volunteers help the event run smoothly across the 6 days.

Doors open at 3.30pm today.

1’500 day tickets will be released every morning at 9am at paleo.ch. No tickets will be sold on site.
