The Migros brand will be disappearing from the stores in neighbouring France.
The retailer has decided to partner with the French group ‘Coopérative U’.
The Swiss company stresses it’s not a takeover, but more of an association – but the shops will be re-branded as either Super U or Hyper U. But they will still stock Migros products.
The change will come to the stores in Val Thoiry, Neydens and Etrembières in the first half of next year – it doesn’t change the plans to open a new store in Divonne in the Pays de Gex in 2026. But that will also be rebranded.
