A man is in hospital after getting too close to the Jet d’Eau and being thrown several meters in the air.
Reports say the man crossed the safety barrier around 8pm last night.
He first put his head over the nozzle, and was thrown backwards. Then he walked into the water jet which threw him into the air before falling back on to the concrete.
The utility company, the SIG says the water leaves the nozzle at 200 kph.
The company says they will be filing trespassing charges for crossing the barrier.
