A man accused of sexually abusing his step-daughter has been acquitted by a Geneva court.
Judges say they couldn’t rely on the statements made by the alleged victim - who’s now 25.
The man was accused of several instances of abuse between the years of 2003 and 2015. He did admit to infidelity within his marriage - to the woman’s mother.
Judges said, in their summing up, that they believe the mother may have manipulated the daughter into making up allegations in revenge.
