Gamekeepers in canton Fribourg are hunting down the person who shot and killed a female lynx.
The dead animal was found earlier this month by a passer-by in the Gruyère region. It’s thought the large cat was around eight years old.
An examination showed she’d recently given had kittens.
The canton’s Office for Forests and Nature says they’ll have no chance of survival alone.
