A woman in canton Sankt Gallen rescued an eight-week-old kitten from a compost heap. Police believe it couldn’t have accidently ended up there - and have launched an investigation.
The woman in Boswil was emptying her compost in to a communal heap when she found the kitten.
She took it to a local animal shelter. Volunteers say the kitten is very underweight and was very dirty.
The shelter says it’s helping the police – and many people have offered to give the kitten a happy home.
