Geneva police have arrested 6 people on suspicion of human trafficking after raiding several Indian restaurants.
In all, 20 people have been questioned.
Some were found to have been brought into the country illegally to work in the restaurants, were being paid well under normal rates and were not registered for tax or social security payments.
Police say they raided 4 restaurants and several homes around the Jonction, Plainpalais and Carouge areas.
The 6 arrested are now in pre-trial detention as authorities fear they may flee to India.
