Impact of Canadian fires to be seen here

The impact of the massive forest fires in Canada will be visible in Switzerland from tomorrow.

Forecasters say smoke particles from the fires have crossed the Atlantic and reached Europe.

Experts say it won’t affect air quality, but there will be more cloud and a red hue to the sky – especially at sunset.

The rain that’s expected towards the weekend will wash some out some of the particles.

Since the beginning of the month Canada has been battling the fires which have affected all provinces – but especially Quebec.
