TV fans are celebrating, HBO Max is has finally announced a date for its launch in Switzerland.
Although it has been accessible in this country through Canal Plus, it will have a standalone service starting January 13th.
It will also be launching in Germany, Lichtenstein and Luxembourg on the same date - and a few months later, in Italy.
It’s already available in France.
The prices have been revealed – three tiers starting at CHF 9.90 up to CHF 23.90.
It’s entering a crowded market with Netflix, Disney and Amazon already well established – but with shows such as House of the Dragon, White Lotus and the Harry Potter series – and classics such as Sex and the City and Sopranos, it’s likely to make its mark quickly.
